The dictionary defines self-improvement as the improvement of one’s knowledge, status, or character by one’s own efforts. The words I underlined when I wrote this definition in my journal are one’s own efforts.
Self-improvement is a habit we incorporate into the routines of our everyday life. It’s practiced consistently to create muscle memory – the things we do that we no longer think about.
Whatever your reasons for partaking in self-improvement activities there will be periods of time in which you feel discouraged or need an extra push on motivation & inspiration. The quotes below may give you a reminder of what you know you need to do.
