Happy Today!

There are a few essentials which make my work and personal life function seamlessly. With three kids, husband, business and my own self – there are many moving parts. But today, I want to focus on the app I recommend to everyone I know.

GoodNotes App

I have used this app for a few years and the only negative I have is that it is not available on Android devices. But I use the iOS ecosystem so it’s not my personal complaint.

Prior to coronavirus taking over the world, I traveled every quarter and my work required toting a rather large spiral binder. And since I would work in the airport, I would have additional small binders with me. With the GoodNotes app, I am able to leave those at home as they have been loaded into the app.

In fact, I am a stationary addiction but with GoodNotes I can utilize digital notebooks and planners. It also allowed me to create notebooks for each of the kids. This was helpful while we were remote learning as Win was in Kindergarten and didn’t have a school issued laptop. We started with paper packets that we scanned and emailed to his teachers.

Once remote schoolwork exceeded the two weeks of handouts we were given, I downloaded his assignments to this app. He was able to complete his homework and we emailed the week’s assignments. No printing, no scanning, no problems. It also became his whiteboard for Google Meet sessions.

The app is $7.99 and it works across the various Apple devices. This has been one of the best investment I have made.

Til next time,
