Happy January 31!

You have successfully made it through the first thirty one days of this new year.  What is the status of your resolutions, goals, or new habits this year?  Are you making progress or have you stalled?

Whatever your answer, now is a great time to conduct an end of the month evaluation of your progress. If you haven’t started or maybe you have stalled, you can also conduct an evaluation of what is hindering you.

Consider this:

1.  When you think about your life, what are the things that you want to change?

2.  What made you realize that you were unhappy with those things?

3.  What are you willing to do about it?

If you can honestly answer each of those questions, you can make measurable change in your life.  You just have to start the right way.  There are numerous resources that can provide you with guidance in this area.

Books are my favorite resource thus I want to introduce you to my January 2017 Book Recommendation.  Love Your Life, Not Theirs: 7 Money Habits For Living the Life You Want by Rachel Cruze.  Rachel Cruze is one of the trusted advisors of Dave Ramsey and she often participates in the EntreLeadership events he offers.

Her book is available in many formats which will make it easy to find time and opportunity to learn. This is a great opportunity to remove financial obstacles to your growth and progress in 2017.

Til next time,

“Imagine that you had a car and that was the only car you’d have for your entire lifetime. Of course, you’d care for it well, changing the oil more frequently than necessary, driving carefully, etc. Now, consider that you only have one mind and one body. Prepare them for life, care for them. You can enhance your mind over time. A person’s main asset is themselves, so preserve and enhance yourself.” – Warren Buffett
