There comes a time when each of us must say, “this is not working for me, let me try something else.”  Putting something to the side is not the same as quitting but in this circumstance, I need to announce that I am doing both.

I have decided to continue reading “How to Win Friends and Influence People” but to Stop posting my insights regarding this book.  This was not a hasty decision but it was a necessary one.  I try to choose books to profile which get me excited and provide me with information pertinent to my and your growth.

Now don’t get me wrong, Dale Carnegie’s book does all of those thing.  However, I think it is time for me to move on from these posts.  I have learned to acknowledge when something is no longer within the realm of my reading excitement.  So I am placing this book on pause.

This week I will unveil the replacement and hope that you will find it just as informative.  Until then, keep reading How to Win Friends because it holds a wealth of quality information.  Mr. Carnegie did a wonderful job of writing a book that was universally beneficial to all as well as simplistic to understand and apply.

Til next time,

  1. I understand pausing and realize it comes a time for most of us to adjust life. I appreciate your move to continue what you enjoy however release your followers from what you see maybe a drawback (if this isn’t a negative word choice). Thank you for all your book reviews. I enjoy the book introductions because I’m not a good book selector.
